Just a quick question I'm struggling to find an answer for...
Do you still need a player group before you can submit an application for a minor player faction?

Yes. You need to have a minimum of 10 players if I recall correctly.

We have 15 players now, lost a few in a cull of inactive guys.

When I clicked the "player group" link on Frontier's news post about new player faction application's, it kept taking me back to the original post...

So I was assuming that since squadrons are a thing now, we wouldn't need a player group 1st.

All the info is on that page. It's just not very well laid out. Things just kinda got a bit messed up since the switch to the new forums.

Good luck with your new PMF.
Just be careful to ensure that your chosen government type is one that is beneficial to your superpower or you may find yourself in conflict with your own PP players.
If you need any help just look us up. We always enjoy interacting with new neighbours.
