Is there any way to transfer credits from player to player? I have an idea to start some sort of escort services for players wanting to trade in dangerous areas but who are not particularly interested in combat. Obviously i would want to be compensated for my time and possible loss of ships and equipment. Is that possible?

When you say 'compensated for the loss of ship and equipment', you aren't suggesting that a client pay for this are you? A flat rate fee, sure, but Buying a new ship?

To my knowledge no, you can't transfer credits directly to another player. However you can buy some high value commodoties and then drop them in space and let the other guy scoope them up and sell them in a nearby station. Finally you could get yourself a huge bounty on your head and let the other guy shoot you down and collect it reward (I don't now if this is legal... ? )

If you want to escort for money, go in a Wing. You get a % of what anyone in the wing sells (from the station's profit)

Looking at the bigger picture, I doubt they will do player credit trading. because inb4 credit sellers start roaming the stars -_-
