I wouldn't call it a hate boner. I just don't like bullies and strongly believe they should be countered whenever possible.

Don't underestimate the written word, my dude. It's a powerful tool to change minds and resist unhealthy modes of thinking.

that doesn't answer the question. what do they do that is bullying? explain how should they be countered. win me over. explain it all. why should i fight against spear. what evil did they do to you?

They detest the outlaw playstyle so much they cross the line into inappropriate out of game and in game behavior. That leads to the kind of things we've seen on display in this thread.

1) Targeting the player behind the CMDR, not the CMDR in game.
2) Leveraging 3rd party tools to ridicule and insult players.
3) Disrespectful and dismissive attitudes towards legitimate criticism - especially against players who would otherwise be neutral in the affair.
4) Setting themselves up as the arbiters of law and order without even the slightest care about accountability to the people they've sworn to protect.

So on and so forth. At the end of the day their organization is rank with hypocricy and seems to only serve the frankly problematic ingame vendettas of a few select people. And what's worse? All the people that just let this happen without so much as a passing comment. Silence can often become defacto consent for bad acts.

As far as what you do with all this, that's up to you.

This just seems to be what you project onto them. I've only seen them a few times in game and not had a problem. This is likely more a problem with how you interact with others.
