I agree. Besides "Xbox" is one character shorter - save pixels!!
In my rack 'o whack downstairs I have a gaming PC, an Xbox, a PS4, and a Wii, an I play games on my iPad and phone as well. It's silly to derogate any gaming platform because it's the games available for the platform that make the difference; not the
platform itself.
Yes, I can say I like the PS4 controller more than the Xbox controller, but inside an Xbox is a specialized configuration of: a PC running a version of Windows. Inside a PS4 is a specialized configuration of: a PC running a version of FreeBSD. I play Elite on: a PC running a version of Windows.
Gamers who think they are more 3733t because of the platform they play on, are just gomers who haven't really taken the time to understand how computers work. Edit: I see the platform-hatred as intellectual laziness because it's easy to ignorantly bash an entire platform without having an actual critique of a particular game. Can we talk about whether the Metal Gear Solid series is all it's cracked up to be? Oho, that'd take some substantive critique. But it's absurd to dismiss an entire platform because each platform has some truly great games. Except for Macs, I mean. The haven't had a good game for Mac since Myst. j/k.
