Right. Cannot and will not are two entirely different things. They have made it pretty obvious by their actions, words, by their very architecture of choice when building the game that pvp just isnt that important to their vision of ED. Its there, but it plays a minor role at most. Its time to accept the reality of the situation as it exists and decide whether you can live with it or not, this is what it is.

Totally off topic but this isn't going anywhere anyways...
It's about an intergalactic luxury liner and a young officer named Ran Colville. Lots of interesting ideas about space travel with some action and some love scenes. A real decent read.
While we're on this, there's a 3 part series of books called "The Fleet." A relatively unknown writer that makes a lot of grammar mistakes, but has a great imagination. It stars a cowboy type space smuggler who is tasked with leading a fleet that contains all that is left of humanity. It's got aliens, sex, profanity, zombies, and some bad ass scifi action. The aliens intend to slaughter all of the remaining humans and harvest them for meat, but underestimate the tenacity of their fearless leader and their finest battleship, The God of War, which cuts down the alien ships with firepower they've never seen. I got the whole set for 6-7 bucks from the Amazon kindle store. Definitely worthy of a little late night reading.

No its not, they already got ALL our Moneys! We paid our 60 bucks, and thats all they are asking... This isnt Wow with a 15.00 a month subscription that you can cancel... So what youre saying is WRONG. They are paid and as more people buy the game will continue to get paid.

There already is a ton of exploits in the game without out of game tools. But people already in this thread made macros for networking tricks
I only trade in Solo, I only shoot peoples in Open. Not sure what you are hacking or griefing... As of right now they are doing nothing to griefers though. The people dumbfiring inside stations and killing people is a definite griefer thing (in my opinion...) and they have said they are changing how station code works to solve that issue. They also said that they are changing station code so that peoples point defenses will no longer make them agro to the station.

What they have to deal instead of this connection fantasy is chanel quality where they determine the packet loss and how long did it take from the last packet to arrive. History of broken islands? For what I see they probably have one as it happens all the time if you just look into your log

None of us debunking your inanity has said anything about "Caring about the game", ALL of us care about it or we wouldn't be playing it, we just don't have blinders on to the reality of the network model they chose to build around.
I personally love the game, quirks and all, it's great fun! All modes; Open, Group and Solo.

If a player is reported and They have a history ban hammer. It's pretty easy. They by all means could do it with very few checks at all and just ban based on a recurring type of report by multiple players as they are well within their right to do so, and seeing as it's exactly how the intend to deal with griefers your just trying shut down the conversation with needless technical e peen waiving.
I second this, can't wait until the people claiming the game is dead on arrival head the other way. They seem to be rather thick though and keep asking for things that are technically nonsense
