Sorry, but this looks worse than the concept. At this point I really hope they leave their concept as is. I like it, it has character.

Maybe, but I think it would be more practical because of cocpit visibility. Also, I think many agree that the official concept looks a bit ugly and not very badass. I think moving the cockpit towards the front would make it more of a warship.
I hope you're not falling into the trap of "loud means majority". I am sure for everyone who dislikes the concept art you find at least one person who likes it. Most people probably just don't care posting in a thread demanding a "fix" for something that isn't even remotely released yet.
As for the visibility, I'd say wait until it is released. We've got quite a few ships where the cockpit is all the way at the front, and we have a few where it is not, but people still fly Anacondas, Corvettes or Couriers. How about we wait how it looks when it is released before we try to "fix" it. The cockpit looks similar to the iCourier, and I bet the nose drops off so quickly (in contrast to the Courier's) that you can't even see it from the pilot's seat.

The lines of the Corsair are cool. The overdose of the hawk beak for the frontal nose should be tamed down. They should also reduce the cockpit ribbing to clear LOS from the front seat without the rib nearest the front end of the cockpit. You are not flying a small Courier here; a competing cockpit alterative to the Mandalay would be better - even with some ribbing to emphasize it's reinforced but don't make pilots have obscurity in the frontal 60 degrees of the cockpit with blocking ribs.
Yes, but we've lost the fine art of doing it, no more final pleas, no open letters to FDev... We've been driven to groveling in obscure forums posts.
