What? Why would you make a private group for PvP if you do not want to do PvP? What you said changes absolutely nothing about what I said.

Some people like the idea of PVP against their friends without others getting involved. Others may be less than impressed with the open PVP community and the griefing that goes on. you may find some who want PVP with non-engineered ships which they don't find in open. There are many reasons for players wanting to form a PVP group rather than play in open.
