When the Black Friday paintjob set landed, these several years ago, I leaped on it. Not because I like painting my ships black (I'm totally fine with that*, but that's not the point here) but because here was a chance to get a consistent paintjob not just for the ships I then owned but for every ship (then) in the game. I could build a consistent "fleet look" that while it may not be unique was nonetheless "how all my ships look". All my ships would have the same paintjob, display the same decals. Later that expanded to using the same nameplate styling, the same engine detailing etc.
But of course there are now newer ships which I can't paint the same. It rankles every time I buy a new one. I go looking through the store wondering if I should "change my fleet livery" but there isn't a single theme that can be consistently applied to my entire fleet in the same color options.
Please, consider one or more of the following....
*ETA: I may be "fine with that" but it isn't my first choice. If Icould have the paintjob I wanted across all my ships it would be something like the "Apollo" series with the base color a really deep indigo-blue and the stripe a lighter shade, maybe a deep cobalt blue. But if FD were going to introduce custom-tintable paintjobs ever, they'd have done that already - we'd buy the "pattern" and set its component colors ourselves.

- Take one or more existing paintjob themes (maybe a couple each of the minimalistic and more flamboyant styles) and expand them to cover every ship. Tag these in the store as being available for all ships and maintain this by making sure that they are added to the store whenever a new ship is introduced.
- Create new paintjobs that you commit to introducing for every ship as they are added. Tag these in the store to show that they will always exist for every ship.
- Where "fleet packs" like the Black Friday midnight set exist, maintain the packs by filling the current "gaps" and adding to them as new ships are added. The additions could even come at an extra cost, I'm sure CMDRs would have no problem buying a "fleet pack part 2" to make their newer ships match their existing ones. Where the original was a limited offer like the midnight set, you could restrict purchase of the addon to owners of the original.
