Please Make Muttaburrasaurus an Iguanodont

It's saddening to see that this highly underloved dinosaur has been wrongly identified for over a year now. Please correct this taxonomic error!

Oh wow I hadn't noticed that. I guess it's because the other Iguanodonts were only added in DLC. So they might have lumped it in the Hadrosaur category because they didnt have an Iguanodont category at the time.
Yes, this should definitely be fixed.

Wait!!!??? What???? Frontier? Why is MUTTABURRASAURUS a HADROSAURUS? muttaburrasaurus is an IGUANODONTID? Man this needs to be fixed because muttaburrasaurus is in the same family as Iguanodon and Ouranosaurus.
It’s a rhabdodontid and Ouranosaurus is a hadrosauroid. Iguanodon is the only iguanodontid in the game.

To be fair, few of the palaeobotany groups are actually families, though I did notice that Ankylosaurids and Nodosaurs have different primary foods.
Diet wise, transferring this to Iguanodonts actually decreases the number of foods it likes.
Iguanodontids like: Conifers & Rotting Wood
Hadrosaurids like: Conifers, Rotting Wood, Palms & Gingko

I don't think this matters much, in fact they should probably be merged into a single group. Iguanodontids are also neutral to Palms and Ginkgo, so not much difference.

Also, Crusher55, Muttaburrasaurus got demoted to Rhabdodontimorph recently, in case you didn't know.

The clades Rhabdodontomorpha and Ankylopollexia are both apart of the clade Iguanodontia (aka the iguanodonts). This clade is what people refer to when they say Ouranosaurus and Muttaburrasaurus are iguanodonts.
Yes this would seem to fix the problem. Iguanodontids aren't the same as Iguanodonts. The former being a subclade of the latter. It's often easy to get them confused. I do it all the time myself.
But.
Hadrosaurs are also a subclade of Iguanodontia. Having the simplified taxonomy we have in the game just doesn't completely work.

As LordTrilobite said, the Hadrosaurids are also Iguanodontians and can also be called iguanodonts.

To be honest, I wouldn’t mind it if they merged the two groups under Iguanodontia.
