Same here and it works great.

Top tip: Map the toggle on the front of the throttle to left/right thrust and the 9-10 buttons (AKA "R2" and "L2") next to the toggle to up/down thrust. This makes entering starports and docking much less stressful. Completely removes the need for "landing mode".

Frankly I think it should be a standard mapping as "straight" (that is roll, pitch or yaw-less) thrust side to side and up-down is so important for finicky maneuvers.

recently I started playing with mouse and keyboard the first time I tried doing it was a disaster so I switched to a Xbox controller. But somehow I found the fights really hard to do with it. I still do i cant kind of get the turning in this game.....
so now i am giving it another shot with my mouse and keyboard again. seems to be better but doubt if i can kill any bots with it .(did they fix some mouse keyboard issue. i somehow find it way easier now )
