Surely there's not that big of a difference in requirements between the two.
Besides there's no harm in asking.
Ofcourse there is no harm in asking. I didn’t said that. I like your suggestion, but the dev’s already pointed out that the new features (like weather) of Planet Zoo are not coming to the current 4 year old PC game. It’s far more complicated than you think.
Again, the most important thing: It will cost a lot of money for Frontier, make a part of their customers mad, and even won’t attract new customers. Just to please a part of the existing game-owners. You can’t simply change the minimum requirements after the release of the game. Because that will affect a lot of people that bought the game, on the basis of these stats. It’s like writing a new game, without benefits, and with offending a part of the customers. That’s a no-go for a commercial company.
The difference in requirements is 3/4 years of development thats a lot in this business. I’m sure Planet Coaster 2 will arrive in future and at that time, it will have higher qualities and more features than Planet Zoo right now. That’s how it works in development of games (software) along systems (hardware) over the years.
