How can you pledge to nominate something outside of the top 10? Who decides what the top 10 are? Is it based on the previous week's amount of prep done?
What determined whether a prepared system will be considered "expansion"? because We had at least 10 fully prepared last week and only a few are now in expansion.
Mining. While the drones are a very nice addition, mining still is terrible. Its barely tolerable now unless you find a pristine metallic you won't be making money. Even pristine metallic the process of mining itself is boring. They need to add some variations in the asteroids with small texture changes so well experienced miners could tell by looking at a roid up close what sort of minerals it may have.
In addition to that they really need to start adding gemstones into the equation. Diamonds, Rubies etc. Even the lower quality stuff would fetch good market prices.
The problem is nobody will mine anything but pristine metallic. There needs to be random elements in all locations so that quite literally you could find a rocky site chock full of diamonds. Sure the actual process of creation of diamonds requires high pressure environments etc but there are any number of reasons how these rocks could be there such as planets blown apart etc.
We need randomly inserted high value targets in the less than pristine environments.
QUESTION About Mining to you hard core miners. If I'm in a A ring I drop off at areas away from the res sites to avoid the riff raff. I noticed that the quality and magnitude of precious metals seems to decrease the further away from RES sites you get. Is this true? Are the yields higher nearer to actual RES sites?
