... did FDev ever update Pluto in game to match the glorious images sent back by New Horizons? I know it wasn't done back in Janurary, and I've not been out there for a while.. and I've not seen it updated on the interwebz... so I guess it's still ... incorrect?

(bonus points to the first poster involving non-space Pluto...)

It’s “yur-in-us”. Ask the IAU.

On topic, last time I flew out that way, Pluto was still wrong. In fairness, we only have clear images of half of Pluto, since New Horizons didn’t stick around for a full rotation.

That's the new pronunciation to discourage anus jokes, when I was a kid it was your-anus or nothing!

According to Mirian-Webster it's either your-anus or urine-us, the IAU is certainly not a definitive authority on the pronunciation of words so I will defer to the ones who are, your-anus it is!

The best part playing the game is that we throw out all of Einstein's physics and travel to light speeds meeting up at Uranus.

The worst part is Frontier servers don't like many live players showing up in an instance. Where is an Einstein when we need one?

We do not throw away Einstein's relativity. We do not travel at the speed of light.
Actually we shorten space by shoving it together in front of our ship.
The way our speed is shown is just for us in relation to our feeble mind to get how fast we will be there.
Hyperspace jumps are also made through bending spacetime and not by accelerating beyond light speed.

Doesnt really change the fact that getting from point A to Point B faster than c still causes massive issues with causiality and this will happen as long as you go from Point A to B faster than c no matter how you do it. All the FSD lore explainals away the infinite energy issue.

Possibly something we learned from the Thargoids. There was a lecture in 3260 something, called ‘The Limitations of Light': Relativity Re-examined‘.

Not long after, human travel was no longer limited by relativistic principals.

Perhaps your thinking of a worm hole, supposedly black holes only allow things to enter, while a worm holes allows one to go vast distance while in them and can exit when they wish. Neither of which have ever actually been proven to exist, they are generally only utilized in theroy by those who dabble with quatum physics. Hence the number of variables and differences the general public has in regards to either.

Actually black holes have already been proven to exist. Einstein’s theory of relativity has been corroborated again with the discovery of gravitational waves back in 2015
