General Possible Addition To Make The Guardian Grind Better

The current way to farm materials for guardian farming is to either join up with a fleet carrier heading out to the Synuefe systems, use the two megaships Conduit and Sadler's Song, or what we all used to do: use what ships and engineering we had at our disposal to jump from system to system to make it to guardian sites which were where we would then spend time: some of which were minutes, some of which were hours, going through the sites to gather what we needed, whether it was manufactured components, or the data from the obelisks, or even the schematics from the data beacons.

There are special commodities found at these sites such as the urns, orbs, and even the caskets0 which for the most part, serve little to no purpose other than to sell. Outside of the few community goals we have which involves hauling these unique commodities to megaships and stations, they do not have much of a use outside of cool items to find and collect or sell to the few megaship owners that collect thousands of them.

I was thinking that with how many community goals we have had with guardian hybrid tech that has been modified and released by Salvation (the railguns, shard cannons, plasma charger, and even the super weapons he claims to have made and used in Cornsar, Maia, Delphi, and Merope) and his competition against Aegis that perhaps there could be a unique contact added who would trade these guardian commodities for guardian materials and data. It would make the commodities have a much higher value to everyone and make it easier for players who do not have much time to access guardian hybrid technology.

My idea is similarly to the post made by Bruce about ship engineering, in making the guardian side of the game more accessible to a wider range of players through accessable means.
If the commodity idea is bad, maybe we could trade excess guardian materials for other guardian materials at these traders.
