Pardon me for being a sour mouth. As much as I'm overhyped with the upcoming DLC, the geeky side of me found the platypus slightly displeased when I found it swimming with their eyes open. If this was just for the trailers, I'm all okay, but it would be nice if this can be reworked with the future patches. Thank you in advance.

THATS what was wrong with it beyond just the neck! Yeah, overall this is clearly a beautiful high effort model, but the eye thing should be changed imo (even if the neck probably won’t be
)
Didn't notice that the Neck is too visible when I've watched the Trailer. This should definitely be changed.
Didn't know that they swim with closed Eyes. I guess you don't need to evolve a second Eyelid if you can navigate in another way

Neck is a weird design choice that will probably need to be remade. I'm just really hoping it isn't too big
I highly doubt this animal will be remade. I think expectations of remakes due to the binturong are now commonly requested and for all we know could have been a one time thing. I mean the Malayan tapir needs attention and still hasn’t gotten any. And although I like the PZ lion I’d love to see a less stylized up to date version simply because I think frontier has the talent to make it even better but that may never happen. With most games some things are hit and miss.
Rework has been requested long before the dlc with the binturong. Lion, zebra, cheetah, bison, camel to name a few.
This is true but I still personally don’t see much changing. I think the Malayan tapir is the most you can realistically hope for. One solution I could see would be to make it a paid dlc to touch up some of these models. You may think that since the models already exist and aren’t satisfactory they should be touched up for free but from frontiers side they provided the models and touching them costs money as someone still needs to get paid. So that being said I just don’t see most of these models ever getting a remake which the modding community much like zt2 has already touched up many of the models which is probably the most will get.
The annoying Part is that it's mostly the Size for the Bison and the Bactrian Camel, which should be easy to fix. At least they fixed the Temperatures for the Camel as far as I remember. Would still like them to be bigger than Donkeys though

Yup. Thats the thing. They could fix the entire binturong but they won’t do minor things such as that. It’s disheartening
Also already pointed the completely wrong Social Requirements for the Ring tailed Lemur out a thousand times and it still didn't get fixed

I mean it isn't that bad, but making the neck short and lower, as well as closing the eyes underwater would help the platypus' design, I mean we have 9 days til release, so it could be changed, but I guess that's a bit hopeful
