Stuck in space?, Is it jump capable?

What happens to you ship launched fighter when the "parent" ship blows up?

You lose the ship, you also lose the NPC pilot controlling from the mother ship. I would assume insurance works the same, the parent ship is restocked with any ships and SRV's onboard.

Fighters are remote controlled from the main ship, no jump or docking capability.

Didn’t know they were remote controlled, thought you actually get into one physically.
