Horizons Post here if you find a location selling a Cobra Mk IV

I purchased Horizons Beta on Nov 24 and purchased Horizons before release. I participated in the beta as the Cobra MK IV was promised as a reward. I have been to several of the stations listed positive for the Cobra MK IV and they are not there for me. The last I checked was Gernhardt above.

Should I bug report or wait? Are there others with this issue? I do not expect it free, just in the shipyard, with the ahem "Black Friday" skins as well as the one I purchased for beta. If I lost the skin I purchased in beta, thats ok, kinda lame, but ok. I don't want to throw another bug on the list if its already in. Great job guys on getting the expansion rolled out. I am sure the rest will work out.

Yea that is why I wrote I don't see it for purchase in the shipyard at the locations indicated buddy. Take a pill (i purchased both beta AND horizons pre Dec 15.)

I got mine and with a full upgrade A rated modules it handled as I expected. However, I ended up with the Asp Scout. I run trade missions and the cockpit view from the Cobra works fine (only care what is in front of me), now I like to do planetary work and look for POIs I found the Asp cockpit makes that much more enjoyable and useful. The Asp Scout also seems to have a better turn rate and I can outfit it the same for the things I like to do (trade missions, data delivery, fight when interdicted). I did keep the Cobra MK IV (stripped down) at the station incase I want to go back.

Hm interesting, I did not try the Asp Scout in beta. I did get a C4 and am using it as an "armored trader", and surface mission runner, but can't really use it in a RES or unidentified signals, it's just too slow to turn, and though you might think it's ideal for planetary landings it actually kind of sucks for skimming the surface looking for POIs (again due to speed). That said it appears to run a bit cooler than the Mk3, and I've read somewhere that when smuggling you can't interrupt a scan by landing or entering station anymore, so it may be that the premium is on silent running now for smuggling, rather than speed.

It's still too GD slow though.

I had a very short 10 min session in Horizons last night, and the first station I docked at ha d the Cobra MKIV. Not a particularly well known system either. Can't remember the name though.

I found a brand new previously owned Cobra Mk IV in a junkyard in the Nerfbago system. It was sitting next to a pile of foul smelling used Mk IVs that were apparently used as portable toilets at football matches. I think they got their money's worth.

Dvorsi, Fowler Orbital I believe it was called has one for sure. Also pretty sure it's not to far from Achenar - just went empire after a year and haven't been around much of empire space - but it had the cutter and clipper, mk1V cobra and viper. annie and python at the other station close to main star think it's cheynk or something ch. also low and high res.

As an aside - Was able to go from nothing to 70% of prince rank in this system in 15 hours playtime in empire space- is this normal?
