Dear Frontier,
i was angry (and still am) about lights, about ride pricing and a post i haven't fully made yet about staff schedule.
But it is time to say thank you, since update 4 you fully cashed in on the genuine experience, that is RCT / Planet coaster series for me: Starting small, growing bigger. I played 2 Small parks and some Careermode and i must say you have come along way.
As i played Careermode mostly on Release and a bit on Hotfix 1, i feel how the game starts to become challenging nowadays. The feeling off fighting for every guest, watching my janitors step through vomit, cause the cube still has a high nausea rating and waiting to fill my bank is what i always carved about this games, i was never the one, who build the biggest park, but i like myself some smooth operations and there we are. I am finally thinking: Should i built the next flatride or save for a coaster? Hm, solar panels are expensive but power from the entrance is too.
Getting a restaurant profitable with 800 guests was a challenge and it took my serveral menu iterations to get there, while pushing for the next attraction to get more guests, this is the fun i always carved and i am happy that a brand new park now makes more like 5k money / day than 50-100k on day 1, thank you for bringing this experience finally back to planet coaster.
When i look at my game libraries, when it comes for game time per €, you are up there with BG3 and Balatro, when i look at overall gametime over the last year: you are up there with Stellaris, BG 3, Elden Ring, Balatro and recently Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Not a bad company to be around.
So Thank you, that for me the experience of the series is back.
But you know, this doesn't mean that you stop there is still some stuff in bad position, some small and larger fixes are still needed and maybe you can eclipse even pc1 for me, if you find a way to keep the game challenging after you build 10 - 15 rides in a park.
