Having played Elite some 30yrs ago, Elite Dangerous this is a big advancement, and some of the controls have baffled me.
In particular how I change the Power Distribution. I've read the players guide but I still cant get it to work, so maybe im just not reading it right.
I go into the UI Focus mode and if im reading the manual correctly I should be able to press the W key to prioritise the Engine capacitor, A key for the Sys capacitor and D for the Wep capacitor, with S for equal distribution.
However when I am in UI Focus mode and I press the W key my thrust increases, A & D my yaw and S decreases thrust, which are the normal thrust controls. I know im in focus mode as if I move the mouse left or right, my ship doesn't role and I get the two other panels. So I cant understand what im doing wrong.
I am only in the Tutorials at the moment but this should make any difference should it?
