Newcomer / Intro Power Plant & Basic Discovery Scanner - No Priority no. in Module Panel

I have two ships active, a Lakon Type-6 and a Viper.
In my Modules Panel for both ships there are not any priority numbers available.. just blanks. When I click on the arrows to increase or decrease the priority values, nothing appears.
Both of the units in both ships appear to be functioning correctly... but I would like to access them.. particularly the scanner to enter a priority number.
Any advice experience of this problem would be appreciated..

Because they don't draw power (or draw less than 1). PSU gives power therefor doesn't draw any.

Why would you want to change the power priority of the unit that's providing the power? <confused>

What is it you want to access?
The module doesn't draw any power, there is nothing to gain from setting it on a priority.

Thanks for the replies... As I had seen in various screen shots of the Module Panel that priority number 1 was assigned.. I assumed it should show up in mine...
Just wondered if I had a bug...
