In V1 Aisling and Zack had favourable gov types that made no sense.Never done PP.
Can someone explain to me why the decoupling of government type and power is a good thing? I would imagine this as an additional tool in the PP player's arsenal, to get an edge on opponents.
Mostly because a big part of our activity was dealing with tons of PMFs because of Powerplay, to get better triggers which are vital in current Powerplay. Trust me: we are more than happy to drop that part of the game to finally go against other Powers.Never done PP.

Who knows which was the point of my post. No real explanation other than quick fire questions..The real question is: will Powers from the same Superpower finally be if not enemies at least rivals?
I admit that being a part of and independent power I do not feel that issue but I understand that for a Superpower aligned Power is a vital information.Who knows which was the point of my post. No real explanation other than quick fire questions..
Actually isn't - patch is called Ascendancy.Well the pledge reset was very predictable. It's a new game, de facto, it only shares the name with old Powerplay.
And that PP NPCs might finally attack rivals on sight. Lets hope they have lasers this time
PP and BGS have never really got on. You can have a faction pledged to a power (imperial / fed etc) but their government can be damaging to PP. You can get circumstances where you have an ally but they're restricted to movement because PP need their control spheres to have a good percentage of favourable governments.Never done PP.

I concur. A few of the basic answers were helpful, a few answers were disappointing (imo), a few more answers were bizarre, with nothing useful said outside of the fixed Q&A. Pity it wasn't as detailed as the other segments.Any thoughts on the PP 2.0 stream? Personally I thought it was a poor show and we're still no closer to what is going to happen.
That was the impression that I gained from the snippets on the stream.I believe the Galaxy is going to have a bigger scale of "political" dynamics... with frontlines changing regularly and a broader player base participation.
Well he explained it a lot better than the stream... it's disappointing they couldn't do the same thing.Guys there's a video from obsidianant with TONS of new informations. I suggest you all to give it a check.
I think that he simply already has, as a partner, the infos we are going to get in the thread tomorrow.Well he it explained it a lot better than the stream... it's disappointing they couldn't do the same thing.
We always welcome every good son of a gun with open arms. That was the impression that I gained from the snippets on the stream.
I'm almost getting interested in PP 2.0...
I had a good time pledged to the King...
