Power play and PvP

Why are some many players surprised when a player from an opposing power attacks them? I don't attack clean CMDRs that are not pledged to any power, or if they're from my faction. Currently patrolling Colonia for Archon Delaine! Go Kumo Crew!

Yes, killing for Powerplay reasons is totally okay. But why do you kill someone in Colonia for PP reasons? Bit far out isnt it?

So Kumo is planning to expand to Colonia

Dont get me wrong, you are technically in the right here. The pilot must expect something like this when pledged to a Power. But i question it was a Powerplay reason. More RP imo

Main reason I'm pledged Archon Delaine is the RP aspect of it!

Well technically you can't expand to Colonia.
