Greetings,

Not a newcomer playing since the 1st Premium Beta (owning a Cobra Mk IV etc) but I have a
Power Play question as I just started playing with them. I've unlocked Prismatic shields
and Imperial Hammers but wasn't paying attention.

I'm looking to unlock the Cytoscrambler.
It is Tuesday and I am at 3 weeks with 822 merits.
The Thursday AM update I'll be at 3 weeks 2 days. I'll be 4 weeks the following Tuesday.
Some merits will be consumed and I may only have say 250 merits on Tuesday.
Do I need 750+ merits on Tuesday?

I'm thinking I'll be rating 3 on Thursday so it doesn't matter.
Can I purchase Cytoscramblers on Friday or do I have to wait until Tuesday?

UPDATE: Level 4 PP three weeks and two days after the Thursday update I could not
purchase them at systems who sell them or going to Shinrarta Dezhra. Let's do another
update on Tuesday.

UPDATE: It's Tuesday at 4 weeks and I can purchase Cytoscrablers. Questions
answered. I bought 12 of them moving on the the next Power Play toy. Something
to do waiting for Odyssey.

No answers? I made another run with my Cutter at 1542 credits just in case. Note that no NPCs ever attack me playing in Power Play delivering propaganda.

IIRC (but it's been some time) you need the rating, which you get at the weekly turnover from the merits. If you're now on rating 2 and collected 750 merits, you'll be on rating 3 next thursday and can buy the cytos.

I just don't get why you're delivering pamphlets, shooting Imps (especially DP) is much more fun and cheaper to boot.

Thanks for the reply AND bed to breakfast suggests that you love this game like me. Of course any real life with a better half, a psychologist and a divorce lawyer might disagree!

Yes, I know about the rating and am currently level 4 moving pamphlets. Having 25 billion in credits and assets it is no big deal to purchase pamphlets for a quick solution. Knowing how to make 20-24 million credits in about 15 minutes of game play takes care of any Power Play cost issues as well as feeding my thirsty Fleet Carrier. Now it takes a year+ of game play to acquire all the Power Play toys for something to do. Maybe by then Odyssey will show up.
