Power play release date

Hey guys I have been searching on when power play is available to all players for PC instead of it being available to only beta players, but unfortunately I couldn't find it... Can you guys tell me when maybe?

Considering the general opinion on the PP beta, they really shouldnt release it until its been redone a dair bit.
The fact that FD has been silent on the subject might indicate that they are indeed planning to delay it with intent to redesign PP.

Im only speculating but it really does feel like this beta/update has turned into a "make or break" deal.

Typically it's a week delay from beta to full release. I say typically because between the sheer volume of bug reports coming in and the extensive debate around its core mechanic that is still going on, I really don't see it happening that way.

Read 1.3 Power Play Beta Bug report section.
If the reports are hot, there is delaying. There is work to do.
This information should help you all for conclusion about Release date.

They haven't given a firm date, but last Friday's update indicated that they provisionally expected it to be this week.

My memory is getting pretty bad it seems. :D Wonder what is going on then. Maybe they are discussing people's opinions on Power Play.

I was away for the Wings patch and didn't see the forum reaction. There is a lot of negativity for Power Play, was there the same levels of negativity for Wings?

There seems to be a lot of negativity for most updates while they're in Beta, and then lo and behold the actual release is overwhelmingly positive.
There are three possible reasons for this:
1. It's a beta, so people are complaining about the glitches and bugs that are the whole point of running the beta in the first place.
2. People are more likely to post negative reviews than positive, because this is the internet and it's full of the worst dregs of humanity.
3. The update is actually bad.

I'm not a beta tester but I've been following the conversations and change logs with great interest.
There seems to be a lot that's good with 1.3, a few things that are still glitchy, and a couple of things that look like they're working as intended but are strange decisions to my mind.
Hopefully FD will take their time on this update to get it right. If they need to take a month to thoroughly iron out the bugs and listen to all the feedback from the testers, then that's fine by me.

Wings was accepted pretty much immediately as having nailed it. Not at all close to that for powerplay.

IMHO they will release it asap , and improve PP later. The clever thing is to see how many participate in PP and make decisions from there and not from the vocal Beta tester's disapproval(I also dislike PP)

Wasn't there some recent Update debacle - forcing them to clearly state "this was a one-off and won't happen again" ?

I'd be somewhat surprised if they intentionally ran into a similar situation again within a relatively short time....
