"Powerplay assignments - rescuing escape pods from Acquisition Systems and selling exploration data at Reinforcement Systems are not working correctly, if at all. I'm doing everything described in the task, but there's no progress. Nothing is being confirmed. I've tried various options. I've jumped to neighboring systems with my Powerplay, and nothing. Yourij Grom Powerplay. Other tasks are fine. Does anyone have any ideas? Is this just a bug?"

Escape pods from Acquisition systems is tricky and underdocumented. You need to:
- go to the Acquisition system (making sure it is a valid Grom Acquisition system, not just an Acquisition system in general)
- collect the escape pods
- go to the specific Fortified or Stronghold system supporting the Acquisition (see the lines on the map in the Strategic View submode)
- hand in the pods to the Power contact in that system, not the Acquisition system itself
Exploration data at Reinforcement systems is also underdocumented and confusingly represented
- exploration merits count per body, not per system, and there's a high minimum threshold
- so you need to map (not just scan) a terraformable Water World, ELW, or Ammonia World
- then hand in the system data containing that high-value mapping
(A single one of these should more than meet any weekly assignment's requirement)

What do you mean by "lines on the map in the Strategic View"? Are escape pods from Power Wreckage signals not considered escape pods? Besides, the task doesn’t mention scanning specific planets.
Power Wreckage pods are definitely escape pods - the important thing is that once you've picked them up to transfer them to the Contact in the appropriate other system.
Yes. Exploration data processing changed how it worked about a week after the initial release and they never updated any of the documentation in-game to match that. You need to do it anyway.
That's "only" a consequence of the credits limit - it doesn't have to be an ELW, as long as the scan is worth enough credits to cross the threshold. One of the many changes that were introduced with a balancing run of PP2.0. Other things (like selling rares) don't seem to have been brought back (yet). Documentation is left as an excercise to the player.
