Powerplay commodities questions

I have figured out which commodity goes to which destination but I still would like to know if anyone has tested these things:

- Does the available number of Powerplay Commodities (PC) per batch increase with PP rank or with any other attribute besides just being a fortifies/stronghold system? if so, are there any charts available?

- Does the refresh time for PC availability decrease with PP rank or any other criteria? if so, are there any charts available?

- Just because I was too impatient to test this myself, if I sit at the station and let the PC timer finish can I load a second batch of PC's into my ship?

- Besides meeting the stated delivery destination requirements, does anything else like rank or distance traveled* or other criteria affect merit payout?

* You are going to love this; I'm not making this up. According to google:

The correct spelling of the past tense of the verb "travel" depends on the type of English being used:
  • American English: The correct spelling is "traveled" with one "l".
  • British English: The correct spelling is "travelled" with a double "l".

With rank and not by much. Recently I gained a rank and my PC allocation went from 20 to 25 tons.

It remains the same, 30 minute intervals.

In PP 1.0 you could do it, not sure about PP 2.0. But it should work though.

I’m rank 12 and got 60 per batch.

wince not much indeed. Under PP 1.0 you could actually pay for additional allocations. High ranking Power commanders would spend their weekly power bonus many times over to fill their holds over and over. Not in PP 2.0 though.

Yes. Given the length of the timer, this is really just a "pick up some when you log off, pick up some more the next day" situation, since you could deliver them and do some other things in the meantime and still come back before the next allocation.

For such a scare commodity, you'd think they give a lot of merits but nope.
And they still give more per tonne than most cargo-hauling activities even then.

"Low value flood" caps out at about 1/3 merit per tonne at best, without an ethos bonus, and is the best available in undermining, so 1.5 merits per tonne is far better than that for haulers.
"High value trade" doesn't tend to go above 1 merit per tonne either (unless you use the 1t trade exploit or get an extremely good trade route which most systems won't have)

Of course, for a half-hour refresh timer, then if not undermining you might as well just do a rares loop which pays far more.

It goes up in increments of 15 at a time, up to 250 every 30min at lvl 100.

Is there any table or source for this? I want to know what to expect (I am at lvl 12 so far)
I can't see that anyone has gone through and systematically recorded what you get at every single rank, and there doesn't seem to be a more convenient in-game way to tell except that.

From what I remember you get an extra 15 every 2-3 ranks early on, and then it slows down a fair bit after that to average out at one increment every six ranks.

There's one more thing: every time you rank up the timer resets and you get a further allocation for free.

So, don't forget to pick that one extra too as it will not stack once you get another rank... so every time you rank up, fly to the power contact in proper S/F systems and pick up the normal allotment + the extra one gained with the rank up.
