Newcomer / Intro Powerplay help

Hello Guys!
A want a powerplay module.
I joined the power on friday (yeah...).
Next thursday I will be pledged for 3 weeks 6 days.
If I get 750 merits on wednesday (3 weeks 5 days), then I get rank 3 on thursday (3 weeks 6 days), can I buy the module on friday (4 weeks)?
Or I have to wait one more cycle and get the merits then?

You keep your rank for the whole following week, so once the 4 week timer ticks (on Friday) you should be able to buy the module. At least that's how I remember it working.

I might actually have a go at this powerpants stuff if I can think of one of the rewards that might be useful. I only ever pledged once, to the brainwashers as a favour to help out @Ben Ryder (who seems to have deserted Elite) but I unpledged after a day of seeing "hostile" (or whatever the word was) on travelling about.

"Hostile" isn't a warning, but a reminder you can actually kill everyone else in that system :ROFLMAO:
