Pre-Purchase Planet Zoo Deluxe Edition, is it worth it?

It said summer on steam and in the live stream of the E3 (it was written, not said). It's to early to yell "trick!" now, but I get the discomfort because "summer" vanished a few weeks ago on any platform.

They have also said in a recent Announcement to say ''Later this year'' in the June Monthly Round up post. instead of 'this summer'

''Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition can join the pre-launch Beta later this year, and add the Deluxe-exclusive animals to their zoos at launch.''

after seeing that i started to have doubts about beta being any time soon.

Just did a quick check of the released videos, as well as earlier versions of the Steam store page in the web archive, nowhere does it say 'summer'. Interestingly, media outlets and volunteer moderators do frequently state that the beta will start in summer. Not sure what happened there.

Based on the caldnar, september is still summer as well, unfortunately. I still hope we'll get the beta not too long after Gamescom. If it would be by mid-september, I must honestly say I would feel a little tricked, but would not regred supporting a great team behind a great game yet. The problem is, steam said summer, E3 said summer, frontier never said anything about summer but also did not correct the info that was given in the subtitles during E3.
