I prefer Starbuck's Gold Coast and Tim Horton's Original, so what about you? Tell your favorite blend if you have one as well.

edit: Tully's is good, too.

The Roasterie in Kansas City, MO is my favorite. I still get it shipped even though I don't live there any more.

They air-roast their coffee...not sure if that makes it better but I like it better than most other coffees I've tried. They also do a monthly reserve of something exotic for those times when I want to try something you can't normally get.

And I have it black...the only way

EDIT: Oh, and the Kansas City Blend is my solid go to...medium roast

Ground by me, espresso shot made by me, milk steamed by me. Better than 99% of over-the-counter flat whites. :)

[edit]Beans from local mob, Five Senses Coffee (usually buy their roast named "24/7").

This will annoy the purists no end, but after a lifetime of doing it myself with a range of technologies we now use Nespresso (the originals that is, not the godawful lookalikes you buy in supermarkets). Not the best we've ever had (that would be the back street coffee house in the pretty little French town of Beaune around 12 years ago) - or the cheapest for that matter - but very good nevertheless; and still in a different league from anything we've had from a UK coffee bar in living memory.

Coffee, mushrooms and raw tomatoes. Oh and vinegar. You can take them and shove where the sun doesn't shine.*

*Generally anywhere in the West Coast of Scotland.

Saturday afternoon? Must be family time for hot drinks at Marks & Spencer cafe!
Their flat white, or large latte with an extra espresso shot depending on quantity of fluid required.
It's just the right blend of flavour, smoothness and strength to hit the spot.

Starbucks is bland and insipid.
Costa is ok, but a bit rough.
McDonalds is adequate for the price. My job involves a lot of driving so drive-through McD's coffee is my usual hot drink.
Kenco Smooth (red) is what I have at home.
