Prefix for an Alliance ship?

By prefix, I of course mean the same thing as USS or HMS in front of a ship's name.

Really lost for what prefix I could use on my brig. I fly for the Alliance.

It's a shame that a certain game mechanic has tarnished the USS prefix.
Not sure you'd want the abbreviation for Alliance State Ship either. ;)

I dunno, how about NCC from star trek?

Three -'s since we can't use strikethru characters, indicating that the ship formerly belonged to another organization, but quit that organization to run off with a bunch of hippies.

--- 013, which could have been USS or HMS 013 previously when it was a Federal or Imperial ship.

I use ISS for my hauling and exploration ships - Independant Star Ship.
I use IFS for my combat ships - Independent Fighter Ship.

For those who didn't know... the NCC prefix is short for "Naval Construction Contract".

The USS name prefix was short for either "United Star Ship" or "United Space Ship", since by the time of Star Trek and the Federation, Earth had already succumb to the New World Order and its One World Government.


As a pilot who's only loyalty is to the Credit, I use the prefix "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot", which I must type out, as using the short-form is auto-censored here.

Well the first reply really opened things up. I never thought to incorporate I for independent.

I think I'll go with AIWV.

So the AIWV Kalashnikov.
