Well played. Wasn't that a malfunction of the hyperdrive due to another ship jumping in the same time Antares was seeing up to jump out? Something about creating a duplicate in subspace or something? I think I have that book somewhere at my parents house...

Epsilon Queen actually ( *cough photoshop *cough) - but yeah it also had a malfunctioning hyperdrive ... Wasn't sure if the Antares was from one of the Elite books ?

I still think this is all a plot by the alliance working with their new allies the Thargoid to bring an end to the Federation and The Empire. But may be that just the crazy thoughts of space pilot.
