Newcomer / Intro probably obvious question about source missions

No that was me just getting confused earlier as your screen-shot showed a pick-up system - they don't do that outside the starter area.
So all in all you seem to have done the right things but we can't see a reason for the mission not appearing for you to complete. Maybe just have to sell your cargo, abandon this one and try another since you have done the normal suggestions - relogging, restarting etc.

Did you buy the Polymers in Otegine (Aldrich Station)?
Your mission details show pick-up system as
You can't buy Polymers in
So that would be the bug - just a starter area thing, that wouldn't happen elsewhere.

The screenshot shows the pickup system as Dromi, so this isn't a source mission.- it's a delivery mission.
See my post #10 above which clearly illustrates that a source and supply mission in the newcomer's zone shows a pick-up system.
N.B You cannot "pick up" polymers from anywhere in Dromi (which I typo'd in my post you quoted) - the only source of polymers in the starter systems is Otegine.

No worries! This subforum is for helping new players. We like solving problems. As an experienced player (5+ years) I still learn new stuff here thanks to questions like yours. I now know that mission formats in the starter area are slightly different.
That everything showed up again after a while is good news indeed. Must have been a server-side hiccup.
This same thing has been happening to me. When you go to accept the mission it does not state a specific pickup point. Afterwards in the transaction area it will give a system, but as another poster stated, that system does not sell those items.
I have to wait between 10 min to 30 hours for the missions to show up in the station so I can turn them in. Its really a pain to have half your cargo hold full of stuff to turn in and not able to do it.
