Problem with ACU/Moving dinosaurs

I can't seem to pick up dinosaurs after I've tranquilised them. I could in the tutorial but not in game on any of the first three islands. I'm told they're "obstructed" when they clearly aren't.

Normally I've been given the option to sell them at least (which I've been using as a workaround), but as this one is part of a Mission I'm unable to for some reason (the option doesn't appear and trying to sell via shortcut doesn't work).

I've verified the files and reinstalled the game, same result each time.

Hey pthor,

Is it picking up dinosaurs that's the issue or relocating them? From the picture you're sharing it looks like you're not able to select a new location for them, and you explain in your post that you're able to sell them. If you move even further away from the dinosaur, can you then select a new location, or is the entire island blocked?

If you try tranquilising a different dinosaur, are you able to move it?

Hi Jens, I pulled the camera back a long way and was able to start placing the dinosaur again. Thanks for your help

Glad we managed to find a solution! The game doesn't like it when you try to place a dinosaur right next to where it was lying, so you need to get some distance.
