Problem with the Throttle

Ok this just started happening while I was in-game. I have my controls set to Keyboard & Mouse (no custom) So When I FSD into a system my ship would come to a complete stop. But all of a sudden now it does do a complete de-throttle but then it immediately starts to go back to full throttle again all on its own. My hyperspace dethrottle is on, I tried turning the Supercruise to from auto to manual it doesn't work. and no my "W" key is not stuck. Now all of a sudden I have to hit my "X" key every time I FSD into a system. Anyone have any ideas? I'm I missing something really stupidly simple? LOL

sounds like you need to get out of station if in one and go through your controls bindings for cause and effect on ship by deleting and remapping starting with all the throttle controls for eg if I leave it blank under no circumstance should I move unless I have preset speed keys set and you press one and weather the input for accelerating is not analogue and that left blank
when jumping to a new system you have to set to full speed in order jump so the ship will continue at that speed at the new system unless your throttle is set to 0 so check your throttle modes do they self 0 or stay at speed set

Ok I know what the problem is/was Well kinda LOL I think it was a memory glitch because today when I started the game and did my first FSD jump it was back to working normally ie: stopping after the jump without throttling up to 100% Thank for the input tho :)

Ok I take that back. It's done it again DAMN IT! Ok everything was fine I started my trip to a guardian structure, got what I needed, mapped a course back home and after the first jump, BAM Now it doing the same bloody thing.

Addendum: Ok this is just bizarre, ok so I'm on a long trip back home from the guardian site and so just before I jump to the next waypoint I tab out to look at like this site or my mail real quick till I hear the FSD drop from jump sound the tab back in ok and guess what while I'm tabbed out it stops like normal right in front of the star. BUT if I stay in-game it stops then goes to full throttle again. Guess I'm gonna have to stop smoking crack LOL

sounds like your device(keyboard) is micro disconnecting and reconnecting causing the controls to default try lead port swap or battery change
check your bindings loading errors log for a message here
C:\Users\yournamegoesinhere\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings
there will be a message for every time it did not detect your keyboard properly

there were errors loading the preset file.

maybe a cofused bind file follow the renaming 3 steps here that will sort that if if is that as like you say keyboard is fine

It started to act up for me too both times I was on the trip back from a guardian site. Quitting the game fixed the problem for me.

Next time you play and before leaving the station go into your right hand screen "Ship" settings and put a tick in the check controls before leaving option. Not saying that is the solution to your problem but it is something that happened to me once with severe repercussions when my throttle didn't work as set on leaving a starport and I ended up with a rebuy after being shot down by security for a number of various infractions as my ship went went every where but where it was supposed to. :(:D(y)
