Hi Commanders,
as I encountered real troubles after purchasing, istalling software and connecting a PXN-Hotas (PXN 2219F / PXN19) - upon starting from Launcher Elite Dangerous did not even go to the Intro-Scene and rather crashed back to the Launcher - I finally found a workaround
1. If You installed the PXN Driver-/Software package already, You need to remove it COMPLETELY:
3. download a Joystick-Software which is know to work with Elite (I used the 2020 Driver-Package of Thrustmaster T1600M),
install and start it. Go to system settings and click "Controller" -> open advanced settings and here select the PXN-Joystick
4. Test
thats all folks, now (at least on my machine) the PXN doesn´t cause any trouble anymore

1. If You installed the PXN Driver-/Software package already, You need to remove it COMPLETELY:
- un-install the package via Windows APP-Management
- remove (using RegEdit) ALL references to "PXN Joystick" (carefull if you just search for "PXN", you will get a lot of entries like "WinAPPxN..." - don´t touch those!)
