Would also love it if we could twist FD's arm into providing in-game council chambers on the space-stations.

Nice idea, but I'd still prefer a RW gathering - beer & ploughman's doesn't have quite the same flavour on a virtual space station.

There are two obviously possibilities.

Firstly an informal meet in London where most people in the UK can get to somewhat easily.

Second a buffet one Sat/Sun Afternoon at the devs teams Cambridge offices.

Both would be easy to arrange after the DDF goes live.

I'd be happy with either of those if we can prevail on FD to host it. Actually that would have been my first choice. There's a discussion on another thread about the unofficial launch party and Cambridge seems to be the venue of choice - possible coordination of activities a possibility?

I think FD might baulk at that suggestion of 500 odd people turning up for nibbles - imagine the queue for the sausage rolls...

And when I say 'odd' - I mean the kind of person who blows £300+ on a video game.

And remember those nibbles comes out of the money we just threw at them asking them to make a spaceship game. And now we're demanding a new stretch-goal : cucumber sandwiches?
