Proposal: New size of manned ships - destroyer

I would like to propose an idea for a new size of ships for Elite Dangerous - The destroyer. It's something in between large warships (like Majestic-Class Interdictor) and available manned ships.
Several options for how it will be acquired, which one is best is not yet clear:
1. Free acquisition as a regular ship.
2. I will be able to acquire only squadrons in the new squadron system that will be added very soon.
3. A destroyer is built in a shipyard in the player's colonised system. The process follows a tree system with a choice of component or characteristic, each stage requires different resources in different amounts, the higher the stage the more resources are needed. At a certain stage the destroyer is created and then it is improved according to the same principle. (for example, the appearance of improved modules)

At the very beginning you can add cruisers of different focus, they will differ in features and functionality

Main Features:
  • Free manned flight between systems and in space like smaller ships, but without the ability to land on planets or approach stations.
  • Loading, unloading, refuelling and repairs will be done by drones near stations in designated parking areas, and full repair only in shipyards (it might make sense for destroyers to be refuelled with tritium or something else like uranium).
  • One small landing pad and hangars for 10 fighters. This feature is ideal to take a ship for different needs (e.g. DBE for research, Courier for combat).
  • The size is larger than the Anaconda and any large manned ship, but smaller than capital ships.
  • Equipment will be different for the ships according to their focus for example:
for a combat ship good combat power with reinforced armour
for explorer a long jump range of about 250 light years with a large radius of automatic system scanning.
for trading small combat power, large compartments for large racks (new type of racks as an option) unloading from this ship should take time, as well as refuelling.
for mining the possibility of automatic mining and advanced drones.
- The crew will consist of several people. One person will not be able to fully control the ship for combat, for this purpose it is necessary to invite other players or hire bots as turret operators, fighters. The pilot will only be able to fire course guns.

Such a ship would be ideal for deep space, co-operative play, exploration and major combat operations. Please note that there is no new functionality in them, it is easier to realise this idea than it seems.

What do you think? What other features can be added? And will the developers stop being lazy and realise this idea?
 
For deep space and exploration, I would also add refueling and repair, as on an aircraft carrier.
The idea is that not everyone can save up quickly for a capital ship, but many people want to explore and donate data without the risk of losing it in case of accidental death. And as an option, you can make different varieties of some of these ships. The cost may be the same, but the internal modules and services are extensive. The price, let's say 2.5 billion, will be fair. And now the researcher will have the opportunity to submit data and exobiology on board such a ship. Also, scanning systems and planets from this ship will not be superfluous. And with the new FSD, getting to distant planets will become even easier and faster.
Thus, with the help of this ship, it will be possible to go deeper into deep space, fly out on a small ship to land on planets or quickly explore nearby systems.
I'm only talking about a research ship, because it's more interesting to me, plus I've always dreamed of flying up to the planet on a large ship and landing on it on a smaller one.
 
Corvette, Frigate, Destroyer, Cruiser, Battleship. Everyone has their own task and specialization. I was waiting for the superpowers to roll out new battleships that would finish off the last Titans. Oh the dreams of dreams.

The destroyer is the main support and support of large ships with balanced weapons that allow them to fight independently. If we have a Federal corvette, then perhaps the developers will release ships of a larger class!

It remains for us to clench our fists so that everything works out for the development team.
I understand why they don't tell us much. In order not to deceive and not to give unfulfilled expectations.

But as a fan of this universe, I would like at least some specifics. Because I'm a dreamy person. :)

There are already people with no interest in Colonoscopy, putting more content with that as a prereq is just idiotic for Frontier.
As it is now, it's useless. We need to expand the functionality. Add features. Everyone has different tastes.
 
I'll continue the topic logically, it's not even a destroyer waiting for us, but a frigate. It is more modest in terms of characteristics than a Destroyer. And it is designed to protect the coastal zone (in our case, the intrasystem) and protects against tarpeds and acts as an air defense system. The escort ship. I think this type of ships can be equipped with NPC police.
In my opinion, the police need stronger ships.
