About Mobius: [...]
But in general, for bounty hunting and especially CZs and their bulletsponges, it is useful to wing up even without explicit communication, only naturally evolving: one targets, the rest of the wing uses that target until it is destroyed. This is still strictly non-PVP, so you won't have to worry about prolonged/relevant enemy CMDR fire.
The fly in the Mobius ointment is when there's a CMDR playing the other side of a CZ, which is definitely happening in this CG. AFAIK you're not allowed to shoot at that CMDR despite them clearly being enemies in a distinctly defined PvP zone. This is one of the reasons I don't play in Mobius anymore..

As for wings, I stick by my original question - if you're not interested in winging up with other CMDRs in an environment that actively encourages wings by its design, why not just play in Solo? I'll even go as far as saying that kill-stealing, which tends to be the (un)intended consequence of not accepting a wing request in a combat zone, is a form of griefing, which is what Mobius is supposedly meant to free players from. This is not directed at rgrocott, but rather the players I've encountered who have ignored my multiple wing requests and yet have no problem swooping in and stealing my kills.

I experienced that on the weekend. I did play the CG CZs in Mobius and met an astonishingly high number of random players, almost all of them on my side (who then I winged up with - all of them were very nice chaps). I had one or two CZs where another player was on the opposing side, and we all acted respectfully and went on our own business with the NPC. It works good enough. Just RP it as being a friend who happens to live on the wrong side of the fence. They are on the wrong side, but you don't want to shoot them :).

I had that a few times on a bounty hunting CG some time ago. I don't get it either, why go through the trouble to appy for the PG when you ignore other players. Sometimes it's not them being Richards though, sometimes it's new players who just miss the wing invitation or don't know what to do with it, or, if they don't answer your communication simply don't speak your language. It happens. Usually, if other players are totally ignorant though, I change my location or switch to Solo.

These weapons are more fun than I was expecting. One-shotting a wanted Eagle was particularly rewarding. Not that I plan make this my mainstay combat ship, but I'll keep and engineer it for a fun "something different" toy.

Oh, and the explosions are pretty, too!

SAWs??? (spent 10mins staring at this and all I can think of is the chainsaw in my shed)
Salvation augmented weapons... Salvation never built pre engineered weapons. thats what fdev added in game altered so "players" can tell Salvation version from OG crap... before they were just new toys... gifted from salvation after he augmented them to be better... they never followed Human engineering rules ..
The over 8KM range shot gun still rules as the best but CG exclusive SAW..

Salvation called them augmented as did Fdev when giving them away in CGs they only became pre-engineered when losers button bashed in out fitting and sold the augmented versions and then went crying to support... The stats were greatly different but people still sold them..

Then fdev used the human terms to describe what salvation did to them. game client was updated and the human terrms showed up in game... now fdev is using guardian weapons specific terms that dont relate to the human engineering builds at all. As they made them up for when salvation augmented the guardian weapon classes and fdev hand of god made the stats up on the spot for salvations changes...

I'm really, REALLY enjoying these new Guardian Plasma guns, and I'm not even shooting at Thargoids! Though it's a good thing that I fly shieldless, as I can barely power these beasts as it is (thankfully the distributor on my DBS has no problem feeding them, however).
