Objective: Hand in Pilots' Federation Combat Bonds for destroying Thargoid ships

Description
The Proteus Wave project has entered its final days before activation, according to Azimuth Biotech.
Commodore Halloran, commanding the Bright Sentinel, offered this statement:
“Salvation’s grand plan to eliminate the Thargoid threat is almost ready to deploy. The Proteus Wave device’s integration at the HIP 22460 10 b surface site is almost complete. Soon the superweapon will initiate a charging phase, generating the power needed for its activation in the coming days.”

“We are so close to achieving our goals in HIP 22460. But Thargoid numbers are increasing despite our efforts to hold them back and their fleets are flooding the system. Any weakness on humanity’s part will leave us exposed at this critical moment. I ask again, on behalf of Salvation and all who have sacrificed so much to end this war: fight the Thargoids in HIP 22460 wherever you find them, for as long as you can.”
The Allied, Federal and Imperial anti-xeno taskforces continue to engage Thargoid forces within the HIP 22460 system. Volunteers are still urgently needed to support their capital ships and take part in defending the Proteus Wave project. The Musashi, an Azimuth megaship in the nearby Pleiades Sector CW-U B3-2 system, will redeem all Thargoid combat bonds.
  • The top 50% of contributors will receive one medium Salvation Plasma Charger.
  • The top 25% of contributors will receive two medium Salvation Plasma Chargers.
In support of the anti-Thargoid efforts, a variety of AX weapons are now available to purchase at the Musashi.
The campaign begins on the 4th of August 3308 and will run for one week. Shortly after the campaign ends, rewards will be distributed and further instructions given.
To earn rewards, you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Pilots' Federation Combat Bonds at the Musashi in the Pleiades Sector CW-U B3-2 system.
Please note that if you have any crew members, a proportion of your combat bonds will be automatically assigned to them. These combat bonds will not count towards your personal contribution total, and your crew will receive the reward for these combat bonds when they are handed in. The proportion of combat bonds assigned to your crew will depend on their rank.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.

  • Thargoids most likely to be found in HIP 22460 nearby
  • Megaship services: Commodities Market, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel

There are still 3 capital class ships per fed and empire but they require pinging with FSS or D scanner as some moved...

These are mediums...
AX multi cannons will kill cyclops easy... but you only get 8mill per kill of a Cyclops...

Low still pays smeg all
100K for scout clearance and only 5 mill for making it to hydra phase.
High pays better
500K for scout clearance and 15mill for making it to hydra phase.

And Musashi sells AX multi cannons as well.
 
We still have to do the whole unlocking , lol
Ax multi cannon and Ax missles are unlocked for every one from day zero of their release
you just have to hand over cash per each one, NO mats needed no engineers needed...
Just need to Know when to use xemo scanner when to run and when to apply decon or repair limpets to avoid death in horizons to avoid losing any combat bonds...
Death in EDO 4.0 client does not lose combat bonds only horizons 3.8 client so in EDO death only matters for rebuy of the krait, phantom or python...

Rewards from CG dont require unlocking there gifted direct to module storage and can replace an Ax multi cannon on the ship...

O well at least the tier for a single plasma rail run is a lot lower... (y) only ~9 cyclops so far...
 
Yeah so I've fought against some Thargoids in the past. Not a lot, but I know that even two on you can be utter trash.

Having said that, I think that whoever is in charge of the intensity ratings for this event really needs to re-evaluate their perspective of intensity ratings. I'm keeping it real just in the Low Intensity zone, and I've already lost ships. I get it - it's possibly the end of their world, but they can get intense in the high ones. Low Intensity is absolutely insane. Why did you even bother calling it 'Low'?
Low number of kills and low number of interceptors at the same time required to get to hydra stage = low zone
Max 2 interceptors at a time and only one hydra... ( Medusa interceptor chance low.)
low only pays 100K for scout clearance bonus section.
Only pays 5 mills if you make it passed first stage of interceptors...

High number of kills required and higher number of interceptors at a single time till hydra stage = high zone...
3 interceptors at the same time.. High has two hydras to kill... ( Medusa interceptor chance High. )
High pays ~500K for scout clearance bonus
High pays ~15mill if you make it passed the first stage...

In other words, the AXCZ that we had before (without the intensity description) is the same as the current AXCZ with [Low Intensity].
 
I can't sell combat bonds at the Musashi any more. I could last night but they aren't showing up in the contact screen today?!?
