Don't you ever get tired of mentioning things from the DDF that haven't materialized yet? Like, literally tired of bringing them up all the time, there are so many.
Not a dig at you as a person in the least, I tend to enjoy most of your posting, but more to the point that there are buttloads of things that haven't been/will never be done out of that thing. It's acronym really should be DOA. It seems like a waste of time and sanity to keep mentioning things from there that don't exist and probably won't.
what he posted was from the kickstarter i think, and not a Design Decision.
Even though I think using the Design Decision documents is valid (imo) for when mechanics are lacking and what I would like to see added, quoting the kickstarter should have even more weight behind it.
For all the extra eye candy of the PC version, this is where console gaming beats the PC hands down imo... Players cant run modified code on their XB1, so other than cable pulling or lagging out, there is not much they can do, and IF the XB1 ever is hacked to run unsigned code, M$ will have no worries at all about banning the console from online (I know from experience after I repaired my XBox 360 with a drive from another dead machine)
Later on (thankfully after I had replaced my banned machine) MS raised the anti even more, by having any console banned from xbox live actively corrupt any game save made on it, so they you could not even cheat offline with an exploited console and then go online with said game save. M$ did their best to rule with an iron fist, and even though I got caught in the shrapnel as an innocent victim over all I think it was a great way to protect their service.
