You can already use keyboard and mouse with PS4. You could also use Wine to play it on your Mac. Do some research...

Because a PC is several orders of magnitude more expensive and some people buy a console because it's cheaper than upgrading/buying a new PC that serves all their non-gaming needs perfectly.
A PC def doesn't have to be more expensive than a console and can still run games fine. I had a cheap PC with Football Manager, Jurassic Park The Game etc. which was cheaper than a console.

Sure. you "managed to run" games in minimal graphics mode at 12fps on a PC cheaper than a console (and for your statement you compare, no doubt, to the absolute most expensive console outthere).
Fact is the keyboard and mouse you say you can attach to a PS4 have no effect. You cannot use them in the game. Except maybe for entering text.
You can also attach a mouse and keyboard to a mango. That has about the same effect.

They worked perfectly fine with good graphics. And yes I just read that you can't use mouse and keyboard for JWE, but you can use it for other games. Don't act like it's not possible, when it totally is. Numerous games are supported with mouse and keyboard on PS4.
And if you bought it on console you knew exactly what you would get? So what's the problem...
