We understand you don't want to commit, and be held accountable for statements, but there's not much "closer to release" left... so do I tell HR and the boss i'm in on Tuesday or not?

I don't want to book a day holiday if the servers only go live (fully) at 4pm BST.

To be safe you might enjoy extending the weekend more than Tue. Game launches do not always go smooth this is something they can't guaranty. Stuff happens!

I agree. If you are planning on taking leave just to play this game then Tuesday is not the best plan. Wednesday maybe, but as above, launch glitches could get in the way which could ruin your time off. I'd aim for a long next weekend personally.

Taking just one day off to play this game is not the best plan. It's time to cache in all your chips / vacation days!
