PS4 Regions, Language and Localization question/request

My apologies if there is a similar thread, I could not find it.

I am very new to the Elite: Dangerous family, so I am not sure how active the devs are browsing the forums or the moderators can relay request/questions to them, but I would like to ask the following.

When the game is released on PS Store, could you please also have the option to change the in-game language for UI and ingame dialog (if there is any)?

I live in Japan but I prefer my games in English. I'm sure there are many other gamers in other lands who have the same preference.

Additionally, is the game being planned to be released world-wide at the same time, and is Japan included?

Hello Ikeda_kouji.

The Xbox version of Elite Dangerous does have this option. I have no reason to believe the PS4 doesn't have.

Now that a release date has been given for the PS4 version, I am getting a bit worried.
So far, we do not have Elite: Dangerous on the Japanese PS4 store for pre-purchase, and furthermore it is not being advertised yet. I could find no official statement from Sony or Frontier Developments regarding this.

My question is two-folds.
1 - Can someone from Frontier Dev. give us more information regarding the JP store release date? At this rate, even an acknowledgement such as "We are working with Sony at the moment, will give details ASAP" is welcome.

2 - If I have a Japanese PS+ service, and buy the game from EU/US store, can I play online with my Japanese PS+?

Are PS4 games region locked? There is a physical disk copy available over here now, if you can't get a copy of that I am sure we could get it to you some how if it will work!

Some are, yes. Ironically I find myself wanting Japanese games that have yet come to America. I could create a Japanese PSN account using a VPN and Japanese credit card (it works), but I'm not that desperate yet. I don't know how this applies to physical media, however, especially for games that require an online component.

The last part shouldn't be a problem, English is taught in all schools stsrting in their version of kinder. Though it's American English, not the kings. But then again, so is "Budo", so read or reread "The Art of War" and you'll be fine.

BD imports are available just like games that never release in the US or EU from japan developers... you just can't by DLC unless you use PSN voucher codes from internet retail sites that match the import version region...
There no japanese text or audio in game.

Can't you not make a European account or American and then get the game?
I know i could make a Japanese account to persuade japans games and or American games

EU/US PSN will only accept EU/US bank card or PSN points card bought in EU/US. In any case I would never enter credit card into PSN after last time.
Disc version seems to be sold out everywhere, or they say we cant ship to your country.

Its allowed out side UK.. Thosands of people do this every single month with a UK PSN account to process the 12 digit code and purchase digital...
The item is digital its not posted or sent...
Ive been out side the UK lots of times and needed to upgrade wallet with EU credit card thats not even from a UK bank or UK address...

I dont know what to tell you. I live in Japan, Amazon will NOT allow me to buy these digital (not posted) items.

Its the same for all denominations on both .com & .uk versions of Amazon.
