PS5 Console Building Limits?

First time I heard about Planet Coaster was coming to PS5 I was like "YES I WANT IT, GIVE ME"

I was looking forward to this game, I love building stuff. My own Theme Park.
Played since Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, this game was one of the greatest Theme Park games.

But recently I heard Planet Coaster will have restriction bulding limits, and you can't build how much you want.
Why didn't Frontier say anything earlier? Why exactly a few days before the release date?
It's stupid to make a limited Theme Park. Let us build unlimited and have fun!

This dissapointed me very much, I considering to buy it on PC instead because of this limit. Don't know yet

When I first buy a game, I don't want any restrictions. That's lame, it because It could make any lags on PS5 If you build many objects?

If so, it's peoples choices. If it makes a little bit lag, I don't mind, I just don't like any limits on games. At least not on this game.

PC is unrestricted in that it will slow down dramatically once you reach the limit of your hardware. With the Oswald-Eugene counter, it stops it before it gets too slow. From what I am hearing the limit on next gen is not too bad and you can build a lot. I would recommend comparing your PC specs to a PS5 specs. Which ever one has the best ram/GPU/CPU will most likely allow you to have the best experience. A low to mid range PC may not restrict you, but you might reach the hardware limit and get freezes and crashes before you would on the PS5. If you want the most unrestricted play, I would recommend getting the most powerful gaming PC you can buy.

Thank you for your reply.
I can understand what you mean.
It's still sad to make a game limited because they are afraid if the console can't handle it.
I think both PS5 and Xbox series X can handle it without any problems.
My computer is pretty good, it's an high end build worth around 20k NOK.
If PS5 is way much better than a mid range PC, then I still can't see the point of a restriction game

How much can you build in your Park before it reach 100%?
A Roller Coaster is more than just attractions.

There is a big difference between not beeing able to place more stuff in a park on console and seeing a pc slowing down while adding more and more...

Sure!
But how much can you actually build before It reaches 100% ?
That's my question. If anyone knows the answer, that's pretty good.
Take a screenshot aswell.

I can ask you because you are the moderator. Do you know the answer I'm looking for?
You can close this topic after your reply.

So I wrote a post on my findings on a PS4 pro. https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/my-findings-on-the-oswald-eugene-counter.558221/
It's not completely clear cut and depends on what and how you build. Next gen consoles such as ps5 are supposed to be around 25 percent more. There are screenshot examples here of full parks built. For other examples it might be worth browsing some YouTube videos. I expect there will be done covering it. https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/the-oswald-eugene-counter.558110/

This looks great too me. I saw the video, I was a bit scaredd you couldn't do much because of this limit.
I'm just glad Art Shapes doesn't take so much of the %.
Thank you very much for your reply, it helped me a lot.
Will give the console version a try when I get my PS5 :)

My park is large. It takes up about 60% of the map and it's fully detailed with plants, benches, tons of rides, 6 or so roller coasters etc. And I'm at like 95%. Sure having unlimited would be nice! But the amount of space we do have is still a lot. I'm on the PS5
