One the one hand, FDev have an established pattern of discounting older cosmetics when they drop significant new ones. Especially true with the holiday sales. So perhaps we're going to see the new stuff soon and have to choose between buying discounted old things or new shinies at full price.
Or <insert evil mustache twirl> they want to deplete carrier owners arx balances now, so they have to spend real money on more arx when they reveal cosmetics for carrier interiors next week.
Well, I think I have all the exterior cosmetics for my carrier I want (huge fan of the Drake-class, so lots of arx saved here!). Some new paintjobs would have been nice, though. I think there hasn't been a single new FC paintjob since their initial release? I'm still very much looking forward to the FC interiors next week. Depending on the quality of the content patch, I might actually throw some money at FDev again (first time since pre-ordering Odyssey about a year ago, mind you)

I’m definitely not one to support Arx but just in the interest of accurate information, the update is releasing on the 8th and this sale is on until the 11th. One should definitely wait and see what’s available after the update though.
I'm cool with it. Made my peace as I quite like my FC and they're welcome to the pennies.
I'm curious whether they'll be doing anything with the interior decor, the way that stations have slightly different interiors depending on their economy types.
They would be absolute fools not to sell at least some basic recolors for interior elements. It's pretty much free money!
I'm expecting some decorations for the captain's cabin at least.
Fdev did confirm back in December's carrier tour livestream that there would indeed be cosmetic customizations available for FC interiors. I believe they mentioned paint schemes and lighting on stream, but we don't know exactly how it'll work or if there's more to it.
Doesn't mean we're guaranteed to have them available on release day, but they are 100% coming at some point, and I would guess they'd want to have some ready from the get-go to capitalize on that launch hype. I know I'm planning to fork over some Arx if I see something I like.

I have the Nautilus layout, which I really like ... but the bridge structure is forward of the landing pads (or at least, seems to be). As I'd quite like to be able to see these from the the bridge, might be time to switch the layout. But I'll wait and see how it works in practice.
