Not in Elite itself.
What helps is to increase the supersampling or the HMD quality in the VR settings of the game. It will increase the VR quality in general, but will require more render-power. Both values are multiplied, so dont increase both at the same time, as the GPU would get over the top pretty fast. You can decrease one value below 1 to get the other one higher though. Test a bit if it helps and what suits you best, as this is very different from user to user.

I wonder what the visuals are like in the PSVR compared to the Rift, in Elite.
I'm not aware of any GPU, including the 1080ti that can use 2.0 without lowering everything else. I don't consider 2.0 with everything as low as possible to be playable. Of course, if someone wants to provide a YT vid with their settings, ingame FPS in and out of stations that will prove me wrong, I'll be hapy to retract my statement.
