PULSE WAVE ANALYZER

I don’t know what happened during the last bug fix, but the pulse wave analyzer is so broken it hurts. It won’t highlight most/sometimes all asteroids until you are under a kilometre away. This bug makes deep core mining nearly impossible and I find myself spending over a week searching asteroid belts for a measly 100,000,000 credits. Also the abrasion blaster still teleports items up to 10 kms away. I have also seen this happen to items on the initial destruction of the asteroid. Due to the insane cost of everything in the game these bugs severely impact gameplay quality.
 
What is it 5 weeks since the last patch broke the PWA? One would think the Devs could come up with a small fix just for this. Then again maybe they are not the programmers who invented the thing.

Just looking back at an old bug the ‘falling skimmers’ that would cause total ship destruction at surface ports...

Issue first reported on 27th of June 2017....bug apparently resolved on 26th of September 2017.

So I’d say buckle up, we’ve still got two months to go before a fix....but then it’ll be close to Xmas, so early February maybe...
 
Have you tried increasing your sensor range?
The PWS has been nobbled but I found better sensors and maximum scan range tends to help a little
Yes I play a good amount of mechwarrior so sensors are one of my top priorities for engineering, but I have been using a new ship for mining so I’ll give it a shot. Thanks for the tip :)
