Newcomer / Intro Purchasing Guardian tech...

Is it possible to purchase Guardian Tech (say from a Fleet Carrier) rather that having to go through the laborious process of earning them?

no :/

Although it varies from person to person, access to guardian technology is easier than normal ship engineering.

But as I said: It depends on the person.

All the older stuff must be unlocked once at a tech broker and then can be purchased in any quantity in outfitting. There has been newer pre-engineered stuff recently (in the last... two years?) that is a per-unit-unlock, i.e. each unit costs the listed materials, and after unlock one (!) unit is placed in storage. The ones I remember are the pre-engineered FSD and Surface Scanner, as well as the Salvation weapons. There are other pre-engineered modules that are not obtainable at present and were only available as CG rewards (Class 3/4/6 power plants, double engineered warrant scanner, pre-engineered heatsinks, probably more - those I remember).

Try not to get confused :)

True, but all the pre-engineered stuff is purely Human technology not Guardian.
