Truth.
I just outfitted a Python Mk2 I labelled, "Double Ought." It's based on the excellent suggestions made by CMDRs on the forum.

4 Pacifiers, all overcharged w. screening shell (yes, I know, double shot offers more damage, but ammo dries up faster than my gaming budget), 1 gimballed frag (G5 high capacity, corrosive), 1 gimballed frag (overcharged, incendiary). A full salvo at point blank range will put the hurt on pretty much anything in PvE. They'll definitely know they've been hit.

Deletes anything and everything, despite my non-existent skills. I'm slowly getting better with it. Thermal resistant bi-weaves, six shield boosters, some armour. I'm ROTTEN at power management, so I've set 3 to system, 2 to engines, 1 to weapons -- and that bloody WORKS. I NEVER run out of capacitor juice, and can boost whenever I want/need. AWESOME.

I used to love my corvettes for pirate hunting, but, honestly, Double Ought is truly amazing. Excellent for running down enemy power ships, which my corvettes have a hard time keeping up with.
