Guys, many thanks for the wise words. Based on what has been said, I believe I was just out classed, rather than anything else. But like I say, quite a shock to experience such a rapid and devastating attack.
I'm not that keen on trying to emulate that performance though. If I could take people down as easily as that, I think it would lose it's appeal. I'm more than happy with my PVE game, and as this thread demonstrates, while the majority of people are helpful and pleasant, some are less so, and I don't play to be somebody else's sport, or to have them as mine.
As mentioned, I've spent a lot of time exploring and mining and the thought of people waiting around for the sole purpose of destroying players of a similar type, is one of the reasons I play video games - to get away from that side of humanity.
None of that is aimed at the guy that took me down though. We were both there for a fight. He won.
